ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Prank

Teenagers these days find it funny to pick on those who can't stand up for themselves. An example of this would be a recent event in which a group of teenagers thought it would be amusing to replace an autistic classmate's ice bucket challenge with urine, spit, and feces. The family of this boy decided to keep the video up as a form a awareness of bullying. This deeply effects me because I'm compassionate towards the handicapped community. As a sister of a someone with cerebral palsy, I can't imagine someone picking on the defenseless like this. Was this an attempt to be cool and if so, is that really what the teenage perception of power has come to?

  1. It's horrible to hear that people can be so mean. Hope these kids learn their lesson.

  2. Wow, this is so disappointing. It's ridiculous the lack of compassion that are displayed in children that are so young. I hope this brings more awareness to bullying and its prevention.
