Democratic Virginia Lt. Gov . Justin Fairfax said reports he committed sexual assault are false . The allegations was first published on the ''Big League Politics'' website on Sunday night . In 2017 the woman who says she was assaulted by Fairfax approached "The Washington Post reported''. Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present. In the other hand , Fairfax has not called for Northam's resignation saying that the governor " has to make the decision that is in the best interest of the commonwealth of Virginia." Faifax shared with reporters that the sexual assault allegations was something from planet Mars, because it didn't "happen".

I had no clue this was happening and it's really disturbing when even politicians are being accused for sexually assaulting someone , mostly women . The number of sexual assault have increased and no one should go through this. This informs the reader about what's going on in today's world . This would really alert people, and encourage anyone that is going through the same thing to speak up. Even though the allegations may or may not be true , this is a very serious issue.
