TSA Officer Jumps to his Death At Orlando Airport - Sloan Daley

A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer committed suicide by jumping to his death from a balcony inside Florida’s busiest airport just yesterday. This horrifying event caused panic throughout the security checkpoints at the airport for hours, which made flights cancelled and delayed. People rushed past checkpoints without being checked. People ran out of instinct, and this lead to about half of the gates closing at the Orlando International Airport after the man jumped, which caused some flight cancellations. The TSA officer was in his 40s and he died from an apparent suicide. The 40 year old man jumped off of a hotel balcony inside the airport into the atrium where passengers were waiting to get through security. This event effected so many people and was devastating to everyone involved.

This event only involved one death, however effected so many lives. Which is in a way how all suicides result in. The decision of one person ending their life ends up effecting anyone that was involved in that persons life. Sadly, we have lost many people in history to suicide. Wether it is completely unexpected or after someone caused other harm and then chose to end their life, there will always be a heavy impact. Hopefully this is a story to learn from and to spread awareness of the effects of suicide.
