Simone Biles speaks out- Melanie Escalante

Larry Nassar, U.S. gymnastics team physician who has been sexually abusing patients since 1998, has admitted to victimizing up to 125 women. Simone Biles has spoken out as part of the “Me Too” movement. She along with other female gymnasts such as Al Raisman and Gabby Douglas, have been abused by Larry Nassar.
This relates to everyone else who has shared their story because they felt inspired by the movement. Hollywood has been struggling with the issue heavily but this just shows that it truly is everywhere. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, victims of sexual abuse are everywhere.
Time is up and I’m glad people are speaking out about it. I hope many others take advantage of this moment, realize that we are here for them, and help put an end to this. I just hope the feedback they receive is nothing but love, as many are scared and holding back because of the cruelty that many humans are guilty of. Don’t judge and don’t blame these women. Listen to them and empathize.

  1. Time is up! I can't believe that this man abused up to 125 women. This whole movement has drawn back the curtain on the way that men treat women and it's forced people to look at themselves in the mirror and fight for change. I hope this movement inspires the new parents of today to teach their children to be respectful and kind to others and recognize consent so the sexual abuse culture can come to an end.

  2. I am glad that women are beginning to speak out but I wish we could have done something to prevent this from happening to so many innocent women. I agree that the time is up movement has created a spark in many women in the world.

  3. Time's up! Now is the time to speak up against sexual assault and misconduct, I respect her and the other olympians who were attacked for their bravery and contribution to stopping these predators.
