I'd like to get away from the more disheartening news to tell a beautiful true story of courage and determination. This Wednesday, a man in Alabama won a $7.5 million verdict in a lawsuit against Walmart. This man, Henry Walker, sued Wal-Mart Stores Inc. after his foot got trapped in a platform underneath the watermelons and he tripped and broke his hip back in 2015. Walmart maintains the claim that the display wasn't dangerous and that it was all Walker's fault but Walker won and Walmart should stop whining. This is a win against the corporations for all of us.

It's amazing that this man was able to beat Walmart and get so much money. It seems like a very challenging task to pull off.
