Summary:
27 people were murdered in the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs by 26-year-old Devin Kelley. Of the people who were murdered, the youngest was a 17 month old child and the oldest was a 77 year-old. The murderer was chased down and he ended up losing control of the vehicle. He was found with bullet wounds from the civilian who was trying to stop him and one from himself. This shooting is raising questions about gun control, since he wasn't allowed to carry any weapon due to past misconduct. Donald trump made a comment on this issue by stating that this was a mental health issue, not so much as a gun issue.
Personally, I found this more of a gun issue than a mental health issue. You see, the murderer was already revoked of owning a gun, so how did he manage to get a hold of some? Blaming the issue only on mental health just seems like you are avoiding a real, deadly issue. Of course, that is just my opinion. As to how this relates to history, well, you can just take a look at this years shootings like the Las Vegas shooting.

I agree with this being more of a gun issue. If you look at the statistics for mass shootings in countries with gun regulations, they are significantly less than in the US. While some people do find ways to obtain guns, it's nowhere near as lethal as the problem we have in the US.
