Jordan Jimenez - Texas Church Shooting

During Sunday service at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs Texas, a man walked in and shot and killed at least 26 people from 5 to 72 years old. After hearing all the gunshots, a neighbor next to the church grabbed his own rifle and headed towards the shooter, making him drop his "Ruger AR assault-type rifle" and causing him to flee. The man, however, didn't let him get away and chased after him. There was a brief car chase, and the suspect crashed and was then found dead at the scene about 8 miles from the church.
I think it's so disgusting that things like this keep happening. It seems like no matter where you are, you can't ever truly feel safe these days and constantly worry about if something similar will happen where you are. People shouldn't feel scared when they walk outside, and they especially shouldn't feel scared in a place of worship. I think it's great that the neighbor stood up and tried to stop the shooter instead of just letting him be.
