Gunman, David Patrick Kelly, opened fire on a Baptist Church in rural Texas, with motives unknown. Kelly had previously, served in the U.S. Air Force, but was served a "bad conduct" discharged after serving 12 month in confinement for violently assaulting his wife and child. There were 26 fatalities in total and families are morning the victims. It appear obvious that Mr. Kelly was an extremely deranged individual and once again a case against the pro-gun cause can be made. An individual with a history of violence and mental illness should not under any circumstance be given access to a weapon of any kind much less one that can cause so much damage in such a short amount of time. It is my hope, no it is my desperate plea that actions are further carried to provide psychiatric help to the disturbed and further regulations on gun licenses.
