On November 2nd, the GOP revealed a tax plan describing an anti-choice notion for pregnant women. The bills summarizes what it legally means to be a person. The GOP is trying to pass this law busily, but they are forgetting about other women and all people who have fought for this right of how to control their body. The new tax bill also raises problems for lower-class individuals and many disabled people. Many people in Congress who are apart of the anti-abortion organization say they weren't pushing for this action but are happy it is happening.
Women have fought very hard for their rights all throughout history starting with the Seneca Falls Convention. It's terrible to see this almost reverse in history simply because old white men do not believe women know whats right for their body. Women have died for their rights and we still have not reached a point where something as simple as birth control is allowed. If a baby is going to be born into a bad life possibly with a single mother who makes little money, she should have the right to decide whether she wants to have that child or not. If a mother is a drug addict and knows she is not suitable to be a parent, she should have the right to make the decision to keep the baby or not. Women know their bodies best and it is disgusting that other individuals think they know how someone else's body should be controlled.
