Los Vegas survivor update.
After this Massacre, a young lady, Tina Frost makes progress remarkably as she recovers.
Tina Frost and her boyfriend were among thousands who attended Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. Everything was going great, but as country music star Jason Aldean performed, gunfire erupted and a deadly wrath of bullets began falling on the crowd. Frost, who is 27, was among the almost 500 who were injured- a bullet striking her above the right eye. Fifty-eight people lost their lives as the gunman fired round after round into the panic-stricken mass of people. Somehow, Frost survived. "The story of her survival is about beating the odds," her father said. She is making a recover, slowly, but the removal of the bullet also meant removing Frost's right eye, according to details posted on the family's Go Fund Me page. And to allow her brain to swell, a bone from her forehead was removed. Given the extent of her injuries, Moreland said she is grateful her daughter is alive. "It's very hard. When I first saw her, it was all I could do to keep composed, but she's a fighter and it doesn't matter what she looks like -- it matters in here," said Moreland, gesturing to her heart
Although this is great that she is making a steady recovery, she will never regain her eyesight and she will never be able to recover from the trauma as a shooting. I feel not only saddened for her, but to all of the people affected by this gunman's deadly wrath. This is a sickening event, as this story is just one of the 1,000 who were affected by this mess.

I hate how people are defending this deranged man calling him "mentally ill". All terrorists are mentally ill. No sane person commits these crimes
ReplyDeleteI still can't process the thought that someone could commit such a horrible crime like this. It is extremely scary that we live in a world full of people who do things like this.
ReplyDeleteThe only good to come from something like this is exactly what your saying. Awareness is the main problem for events like this. We needed a wake up call. It happened in a terrible and disgusting way, but hopefully the people that lost their lives will help prevent others from suffering the same fate
DeleteThe story of her survival is incredible, she was extremely lucky, but it is so hard to hear about the horrible event. I also find it hard to process why someone would want to take the lives of so many.

It's amazing how she survived such an incident. I even can't imagine what trauma and pain she must be going through. I hope she can recover mentally and emotionally about the event, let alone physically.
