“Cold Case” Cold no More: Hannah Karim
In the fall of 1983 Heather Coggins’ uncle, Tim, was viscously murdered, and could possibly have been racially motivated slaughter. And now, 34 years later, she finally has justice between her fingers. Coincidentally on Friday the 13th, five men were arrested for the case of his death. Two of which were officers charged with obstruction. Members of the family are now at peace after the case has been closed and their family member is at rest with his story to be told.

That is good that they finally received justice for the murder case, even if it took a while.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear that the family did get justice, but why did it have to take so long?!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Justice is great but this shouldn't have taken THIS long.
DeleteI agree with all the comments above and wonder the same question as Kendall. This, in my opinion is violating the right to a speedy trail.
ReplyDeleteI had the same question as Kendall; why did it take so long for them to get their justice?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure this violates the right of a speedy trial. I may be wrong but I think that may just apply to court cases. If they couldn't find any proof at the time, an investigation may be forgotten. Sometimes there simply is no proof or no answer.
