A 50 year old man was murdered by his daughter and her boyfriend, along with the help of another young man. He died of “blunt head trauma”. The daughter was only 15 years old and murdered her dad because he didn't approve of her relationship with her boyfriend. Uneasiness in the family added to the reasoning behind the murder. The guilty three were charged with “robbery, murder, and tampering with evidence”.
It's unbelievable to me that a girl my age would kill her father. I wonder if her boyfriend pushed her to make the decision or if it was strongly her own choice. I think this article was written to tell about how small tensions within a family can lead to a very unfortunate event. It's important for people to find therapy and attempt to work out their problems before they think about making poor choices.
She could've abandoned the relationship, if her boyfriend had pressured her into murder, the moment it first came up. So it's most likely that it was a mutual agreement between them.

ReplyDeleteIt is astounding to me that a girl could murder her own father! The relationship between the girl and her father must have been awful, if it drove her to take such a drastic and consequential measure.

ReplyDeleteI would want elaboration about the uneasiness in the family. Obviously what she did is horrendous, but we never know how her previous relationship with her father was. On top of that, we don't know how her relationship is with her boyfriend either. Again, it is terrible and horrendous but I feel bad for judging without knowing the whole story- she may have been caught in a really bad or dangerous situation and she saw that as the only way out.
