Deadly Wildfire in Northern California: Hannah Karim

Starting last night and leading into today, deadly wildfires have been spreading across Santa Rosa and Napa, California. So far in this devastating event ten people have died and "over 100 people" are being treated in hospitals across Santa Rosa and Napa. In the past few days roughly 57,000 acres of land have been destroyed and 1,500 structures (including innocent citizens homes) have been destroyed. Fortunately, most people were warned of these spreading wildfires and they had been evacuated from their homes before this disaster struck. But, that does not take away from the fact that hundreds of people's lives are changing and have been changed.

  1. Fires can be very devastating. I hope things get better for California, as this isn't their first recent fire.
