58 killed 515 injured in a shooting at the Jason Aldean Concert- Michal Randolph

Many people gathered on Sunday October 1st for the Jason Aldean concert during a country music festival. All of a sudden there were several gun shots fired from above them,  the panic rose and people were running frantically around looking for cover but know one knew where it was coming from. The perpetrator, Stephen Paddock turned out to be on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel looking over the outdoor concert. Paddock committed suicide soon after the shooting. The police discovered that he had 47 weapons in the room with him on that day and  reports state that it took about 10 minutes to complete the deadliest mass shooting in America Today.

This story is very sad and upsetting and I feel for the lives lost on that evening. Gun control is a big problem in the U.S. today and this has only announced the problem even more. Many protests have occurred and other violent events. However, the question is, How many mass shootings does it take for people to realize that there is a problem. The more that these shootings occur the more people feel the need to buy a gun to protect themselves.
