Trump Bans U.S. Funding For Groups That 'Promote' Abortion Overseas - Emma Reyna

Summary:

One of Donald Trump's first immediate actions after being inaugurated as president was signing  an executive order which will affect women around the world by limiting their access to abortion services overseas if needed.
Just days after millions of women marched all over the world in protest of Trump and his policy's regarding women's rights Trump has  restored back the Mexico Citypolicy, which blocks US   funding to international non-governmental organisations that provide funding for abortions and family  planning services when  needed in case of an emergency.
Otherwise known as the worldwide rule, it was first put into use by Ronald Reaganin 1984 at a United National conference  in Mexico City. It was undone under Bill Clinton, and restored  back by George W Bush and undone  once again by Barack Obama and lastly Inacted again by Donald Trump. In the end  the policy basically  forces oraganizations that  provide to be put an end or to  stop providing money to US government for abortion  services even  if the money is given to support  other life-savingmedical services elsewhere.

Analysis/Synthesis:

When I first heard that this policy was inacted once again I wasn't quite  surprised since all the republicans after Regan chose to Re-intact this policy since particular  beliefs on "Pro-life" instead of "Pro-choice" but this time around I found myself to be quite disappointed. I mean after the Women's march I hoped Trump would be considerate and be open minded to not regulate policy's as these or to take back on what he said about taking away plant parent hood and womens rights in general but in the end he didn't. It almost feels as if we are going backwards instead of forwards. A woman as any man should  have the right to do whatever  she wants to her own body and by her own constant and not the governments. This is why I find policy's like this practically absurd. I mean what if a women  got raped or just accidentally got pregnant in another country and decided she wanted to get an abortion right then and there. Taking away her funding is basically taking her own right to her own body.
