Lauren Cargill - More than a million people marched against Trump in the US -- and that's not counting D.C.

Summary: Yesterday, more than one million people across the country marched against Trump at the Women's Marches. That doesn't include the 597k that marched in Washington D.C. Some of the largest marches were 100k in New York, 125k in Chicago, 100k in Los Angeles, 120k in Seattle, and 120k-125k in Boston. People marched through the streets of their cities holding signs promoting women's rights.
Analysis: I think this shows how thousands of people across the country can unite for one cause. I think it's amazing that so many people all marched. I also think it sends a message that there were so many more people at the Women's Marches than at Trumps inauguration. I think this event proves that we get get through the next four years if we stick together and stand up for what we believe in. This could be compared to the Women's Suffrage Movement. Both are great examples of women fighting for their rights.
