On October 2nd, 2016, CNN published an article that addressed Rudy Giuliani's opinions on Trumps accusation that Hillary Clinton is cheating on her husband. Rudy Giuliani is the former mayor of New York and is an extreme trump supporter. During his interview with Jake Tapper, Giuliani claimed that addressing someones personal life (marriage) with no evidence is "fair game" due to the fact that Clinton called him a few names, in which she had evidence to support.
The author of this article is Eric Bradner, who is a CNN reporter that covers all topics going on with the presidential campaign. This article was just more of a report of the interview and gave very little opinion because so much opinion was given in the actual interview itself. This article was released just a few days after the first presidential debate which could potentially affect the interpretation or audience viewpoint of the topic. Throughout the interview, Giuliani never brought up a valid point for why it was acceptable for Trump to make wild accusations with no evidence backing his claims and beat around the bush of the literal questions that were being asked by Tapper. I knew nothing of Trumps accusations against Hillary's marriage before reading this. After reading this article I'm honestly not surprised that such a childish remark was made by Trump and that people still continue to support his child like actions with irrelevant arguments to defend them.

It is truly disappointing to see how little of the campaign is actually covering issues of great importance.
