U.S Navy officer charged with espionage

This article is about a navy officer who had been charged with espionage and attempted espionage. Lin was arrested eight months ago but the information on this case didn't become available until after the hearing on Friday. Lin has many charges against him, 2 counts of espionage, 3 counts of attempted espionage, a violation of wrongly transporting classified materials, failure to report the compromised information, and many others.

Analysis: This is very disappointing to find out about. We expect all of our men and women of our armed forces to be trustworthy and honest. Though he is only human and everyone makes mistakes, he shouldn't have made this one and many others to go along with it. This can synthesize back to Richard Nixon's presidency and how he and many others were caught up in the Watergate Scandal. When he sent men to go steal information and spy on the opposing party to get extra information. Both of these situations are wrong and very sad to hear about.
