Plane Hits Car On Interstate - Olivia Browne Period 6

A car parked on an interstate highway shoulder while the driver used a cell phone was rear-ended by a small plane making an emergency landing, killing a woman in the vehicle, California authorities said Saturday. The driver was complying with California laws regarding hands-free phone operation while operating a vehicle, said North County Fire Protection District spokesperson John Buchanan.

Analysis: The Author is Ralph Ellis and he appears to be a non-bias party. This article was created on April 3rd, right after the incident had taken place, adding to the urgency. I had no prior knowledge of this event. The Audience is the concerned American public and this story has a negative effect on them. The reason for writing this article was to educate the American public on these occurrences. This directly relates to the effect that the automobile industry had during the industrial revolution.

  1. This is sad to hear about. This shows you that stopping on the side of a highway is very dangerous, and if you have the opportunity to exit then you should.
