San Antonio schools fire officer accused of body-slamming a student

A school police officer has been fired after body-slamming a student to the ground has been fired. This happened at Rhodes Middle School in San Antonio. Officer Kelm lifts the student into the air and throws her to the ground. As she lies there, the officer handcuffs her and escorts her away. There have been various amounts of cases of excessive force amongst police officers with students. Police departments are beginning to find where they need to work on improvement.

Analysis:
I believe that police departments should really work on this because many students can begin to become very frightened of police officers with in schools. School I suppose to be  place where kids should feel comftorable an safe.
