Kiyanna Elliott Cuban migration spikes as U.S. relations with Havana thaw

Summary: The number of Cubans entering the United States compared with 2014 had nearly doubled all because Cubans fear that they will no longer benefit of the policy of granting legal status to any Cuban national who reaches dry land in the United States since relations between the two countries are easing.

Analysis: I think it's great that Cubans are wanting to come to United States presumably for a better life, but I'm sure, like with any other ethnic or racial groups who wants to immigrate to the US, they the government want out right deny them so long as they follow the same rules everyone else does. Your situation is different from the 1960s and it isn't right to exploit someone's generosity. I was in that situation, I would try to abide by the rules and add lines because it's the least I can do.
