Yet again we hear about another deadly shooting from a police officer. Tuesday night authorities identified the victim of the shooting was 16 year old Pierre Loury, he was African American. The reaction from the public was astounding as hundred fled the streets. A person reported "police have no regard for the sancitity of life when it comes to people of color". Two protesters were taken in because they were blocking traffic while protesting.
I completely agree that some cops are completely racist. Bu there are many good ones out there that don't abuse their power and do their job correctly. I know this connect well in the 60s with the civil right movement and police brutality against black people whenever they tried to protest. For example Martin Luther Kings March in Selma. This led to police acting violently toward blacks. In which th black panthers stepped in to try and help using violent instead of non- violent protest.
