Of course we all saw the amazing halftime performance during this years Super Bowl featuring Beyonce, Cold Play, and Bruno Mars. After Cold Play was done with his solo performance we saw a breathtaking duet/ dance off between Bruno Mars and Queen Bey. Bruno performed Uptown Funk which they both danced too. The song is a very popular jazzy song
I connected this to the Harlem renaissance. Thanks to this cultural revival in Harlem New York songs like Uptown funk are able to be made today. Famous jazz artists of this time like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington really paved the way for many jazz artists today.
