Wasil Ahmad, an 11 year boy in Afghanistan, was shot and killed by the Taliban when he went to get groceries. However Wasil was no ordinary boy. He was made a hero when he commanded an army against a sieging Taliban. He turned into a hero after his father was murdered by the Taliban. His assassination marks the insane level of violence in Afghanistan.
Synthesis: This boy definitely reminds me of a real-life Bruce Wayne, and is a hero that will definitely be missed. He can be synthesized to Teddy Roosevelt, who commanded the Rough Riders in very successful war battles becoming a hero. It is immensely more impressive considering he is only 11 years of age, and begs the question of what miraculous things he could have done in the future had his life not been so wrongfully robbed from him.
