Right after his victory in the New Hanpshire Primary, Bernie Sanders appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. This article states that Colbert, who is from North Carolina, gave Bernie advice on how to win the South Carolina Primary, saying he should eat boiled peanuts and drink beer. Sanders then did not hesitate to take a drink of the beer Colbert offered him. Colbert restated Bernie's goal of achieving fairness among classes, but reminds Sanders that it will be very difficult because the top 1% have a lot of influence in the government. Sanders replied by saying that Americans are unhappy about the status quo.

I love how easily we can listen to the views of people that are trying to run for President. That kind of easy communication started in the 1920's, because presidential debates could now be on the radio. This educated people on the exact views of every presidential candidate, and that accessibility has only grown since then. And a great opportunity has been on talk shows. In a recent study, it was shown that people learn more about American conflicts, politics, and other news from watching the Colbert Report and The Daily Show than they did watching the actual news, such as Fox.

Fox is super biased anyways so we might as well turn to outlets like the daily show.
