Involved recentering police and alternatives to them. In August, Protesters interuppted the movement, she made amends to meet with them. McKesson said that sometimes, Hillary's words don't match her intentions. She also Plans to get rid of private prisons, and immigrant detention centers. The conversation was candid, & McKesson felt heard. Both canadates Bernie and Sanders have been responsive to the black lives matter movement.
Analysis: This to me sounds like the presidential campaign of Taft and Roosevelt, because Taft and Roosevelt were both known for their trust busting, and now, Hillary and Bernie will both be known for actually responding to a movement that most white politicians usually don't. It's definitely interesting to see two canadates of the same party fighting for many different things, and yet standing United to help the BLM movement. It also shows that if White politicians can get behind the movement, no matter how many racial issues persist, we are definitely headed in the right direction.
