Summary:this article commemorates the life of Fred Thompson, who has recently passed away. This man ,who you may or may not know, was an actor, former senator and star of "Law and Order". He also at one point was a presidential candidate. He has recently passed away of lymphoma.
Analysis:This man was a senator, yet he was also a star in the show law and order. I'm pretty sure this guy knew the law inside and out. This guy not only knew it because of the show but also because he was in congress, was a senator. When he became a presidential candidate, I'm sure he was more than fit for the role of presidency, having a lot of background with politics and the law. This reminds me as the judge marshell ho basically set out how our supreme court was going to act. Fred Thompson had the potential to shape a bit of our government, he simply gave me that impression. After all since Judge Marshall was a federalist he shaped our society to judge in a federalist light. If Thompson had ever made it to presidency his decisions would (hopefully) have never been over the top, maybe even a perfect solution to one of our current problems. "Perfect" because he wouldn't go over the law yet it wouldn't be so loose people find loopholes.

Nice connection. He could have possibly done what Marshall had to the US government with all that knowledge, unfortunately, we'll never get to find out.
