If you missed the Grammy Awards show Sunday, you sure missed out on a big surprise nobody saw coming and that was MICHELLE OBAMA . The former first lady made an appearance and talked about how music has "always helped me tell a story" alongside host Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jennifer Lopez. As you can only imagine the audience went wild, Obama also went on to say that "Whether we like country, or rap or rock, music helps us share ourselves — our dignity and sorrows, our hopes and joys," the former first lady continued. "It allows us to hear one another, to invite each other in."
"Music shows us that all of it matters, every story within every voice, every note within every song — is that right ladies?"
I think that her stating that is something that everyone needed to hear especially, with everything that is going on in the society. In the end, music should definitely be the one outlet that people can go to when theres madness going around and I think as a society we should do a better job at showing that to our upcoming generation.
