Bryn Bohannan: Dolly Parton talking about women's rights

Summary:
Dolly Parton has an interview about the movie based off of 9 to 5 the musical, which she is in, and during this interview they started talking about women's right. How there has been a big change since the first time the musical came out and now she thins it will bring back up women's voices. She also talked about how you do not need to sleep your way up to the top or anything like that to get to where you want to be.
Analysis:
This time period of women's rights and women being heard reminds me of when women got everyday jobs during World War I. World War I showed that women could do anything that men could do and lead to the 18th amendment and let women help out during wars. The Me, Too movement and Time Up movement has helped women get the confidence to speak up about problems in the work space and harassment. These voices and alliances will hopefully lead to women's right being improved and more equal to men's.
