The Cookie Crumbles: A Retracted Study Points to a Larger Truth
It is hard to have your children make healthy choices. So there was a study conducted to see how many children would choose the apple over the cookie. 20% of the kids chose the apple, however when there was sticker of a popular character then the amount fo kids who chose the apple increased to a third. Children need to start making healthier choices, but it’s difficult especially in America where fast food culture is very prominent and cheap.
I agree, for it is hard to be healthy in a world that desires such instant gratification. Fast food is destroying our diet as a whole, and I wish more was being done about it.

ReplyDeleteI agree, fast food is such an easy and cheap option. Many people also cannot afford healthier foods, and I believe more needs to be done so healthier food can be more available to everyone.
This is a huge problem in our country. It's why obesity is so prevalent in the population. Education and financial help for people who are more subject to choose fast food over healthy food is what we need now.
ReplyDeleteI think advertising could be the main problem. Most healthy foods are promoted on commercials for A:overpriced stores with no competition and therefore no need to lower prices or B: fast food companies. When you look at it this way it’s easy to see why we have a problem with obesity
ReplyDeleteThe main issue with this is that healthy foods cost tons of money and low-wage families cannot afford to feed their children, or themselves, healthy diets. I think a decision needs to be made in America to lower the prices of healthy Goods to prevent a greater obesity problem in our future.
ReplyDeleteThis is a huge problem in our country especially with obesity as a main health issue. If people just change the way the eat they will feel and look even better than they did before.
