Mike Pence Leaves 49ers-Colts Game over Protesting During National Anthem

Summary: Vice President Mike Pence attended a 49ers-Colts game today. However, he left during the protests of the teams when the anthem played. He said that he will not dignify any event that disrespects the American flag. Eric Reid ,the 49ers safety, said that this was probably fully premeditated. Although there isn't sufficient evidence to fully confirm this, there is enough.
Analysis: My thought are this. Ok. Obviously, this was planned beforehand to try to affect the protests. First of all, how exactly are they even really disrespecting the flag. Ok so they're kneeling down. So what? Are they throwing the flag off a building? Are they burning it? No. There is literally amendment of free speech that they're exercising. Is it so wrong? Our founding fathers literally threw crates of tea into a harbor and did a lot of things in protest, so what exactly is wrong with this. I don't know, except I support the teams that do these protests in order for our people to recognize the events that take place because of racism, hate, and etc.

I still don't understand why kneeling is somehow so offensive. It's simply a symbol against racism-a silent first amendment right, which I don't understand is getting so much hatred for.
