Shayne Grant: Post-Maria, Trump's approval rating on hurricane down 20 points

Since Hurricane Maria, President Trump's approval ratings fro hurricane have dropped from 64% in September to just 44% in October. This is due to what many have called the governments insufficient aid to Puerto Rico. Trump has also been blasted for calling out local leaders of the island and blaming them for the situation. In a news conference on Monday, President Trump addressed the issues in Puerto Rico saying that because of the flooding, food could not be distributed. According to the CNN poll, his ratings have dropped more dramatically among minorities. For example, African American approval has dropped from 55% to mere 25%.
The poll that gave this information comes from CNN a reliable source (not according to the President). The article addresses potential errors in the poll which adds to the validity. If the polls are true than it is greatly troubling that only a 1/3 of Americans approve of what our president is doing. If the majority of the citizens cannot back the President, then it begs the question: is the President right in what he is doing?
