Nuedexta is a pill that has been doing surprising well for raking in income. The medicine targets the elderly for the uncontrollable urge to laugh or cry. This affects less than 1% of Americans mainly those who have Lou Gehrig's disease. Although they sell this drug to elderly who have Alzheimer's disease and dementa. They also tend to prescribe them with a high dosage. This medicine however has been found to either not do anything at all or make things worse when perscribed to those who don't actually need it.
Stuff similar to this has happened before especially around the holocaust and the period before the civil rights movement. This was when medicine prescribe at high cost ment to change some feature about you, but didn't actually and in most cases cause a form of illness occurred regularly.
