There are so many families in California that are displaced because of the wildfires that have been occurring. I just came back from there, and you can see/smell the smoke in certain areas of SoCal. Close to 10,000 people had to evacuate, and 5,700 buildings and houses got destroyed. People were frantically trying to get as much as they could and find a safe place. This brought together whole communities because they have been relying on each other for help and for rescue in and out of the areas that have been affected. Escape routes were a concern for many families, as it was very packed and busy.

This relates to APUSH because the continental congress had to rely on each other and build a community to escape from their past and start over. The Constitution was written based off of agreements and a similar ideal. This was written to inform other people of California and everyone in the US who can help.

  1. And it's still not even our president's top priority! Geez, when will he learn that as a president, you need to address every tragedy and act accordingly?

This is so devastating. Since the start of the school year there have been so many tragedies striking the planet. However, I love seeing how people are so willing to help their friends, families, and even complete strangers. I hope those affected can come back strong. I also agree that Trump needs to take steps and help his own nation recover.

  3. It is awful to hear about the disastrous situation the state of California is facing, as well as the people and families that live there.
