MLB Sued by Fan Who Was Struck by Bail and Left Blind in 1 Eye- Sophie Sandoval

On Monday Jay Loos was in the crowd at a Cubs baseball game when a baseball was hit into the stands and struck Jay in the eye. He was left with a blind left eye and a broken nose. Jay knew that foul balls could go anywhere but didn't know they flew like "missiles". Loos is seeking more then $50,000 in damages. On the baseball tickets they have a safety disclaimer stating that there is a chance of getting injured by flying balls. Loos didn't have a ticket because he was a guest.
To me this is kind of sketchy because normally every single person has to have a pass or ticket of some kind to be admitted into the stadium. I don't know if Loos could be bluffing saying he didn't have a ticket or maybe he's serious. I do find the fact that he docent have a ticket very strange.

  1. I agree, it does sound sketchy but maybe you could look into it and see the ticket policy for bringing guests. That honestly sounds like something out of a final destination movie.
