Caner-genome study challenges mouse 'avatars - Chloe Walker
A new cancer study challenges predictions of the responses to therapy. The study organizes the changes that occur to the tumors after they have been grafted. Patient-drived xenografts, (PDX) are model avatars for cancer patients. They are used to find the best treatment for each individual patient.
