Mia Ibanez: Wildfire in Northern California Kill at Least one and Destroy Hundreds of Buildings

Summary-

  • Wild fires in California continue to be on the rise, especially in Santa Rosa-killing one person and forcing the evacuation of 20,000+ people and destroying hundreds of buildings. In eight different counties---Napa, Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Yuba, Nevada, Calaveras and Butte. In total at least 15 fires had destroyed an estimated 1,500 residential and commerce structures and burned 73,000+ acres since yesterday (Sunday) night, around 10 pm and is expected to increase evacuation measures are being taken into consideration due to the many casualties.

Analysis-

  • It's horrible to hear of all the natural disasters that are going on in the world today. First starting with the Hurricanes that hit the Florida Keys, the Earthquake in Mexico, and the continuous wild fires in California. I hope things will get better over time, amd that everyone will try to help those who are suffering loss of homes, and loved ones.
