Yesterday evening at least 59 people were killed and about 527 injured. A gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort in Vegas into a crowd of 22,000 people at the country singer Jason Alden's concert. People witnessing it said the gunshots went on for 10-15 minutes straight with not stoping in between. This has been considered the largest mass shooting in Unites States history. The police reached the hotel room where 64 year old gunman Stephen Paddock was found dead on the floor. They think that he killed himself.
This is just another thing that can bring us closer together. Times like this are hard, but could make us stronger in the end. I feel for those people and families that have lost a family member or friend. There has been many in history, however, we haven't experienced this extreme of a mass shooting. We will get through this if we stick together and be there for each other.
I agree that we should all come together in times of need and pray for the families affected.
ReplyDeleteAmerica has just been hit by one thing after another. The since of community that is needed to comfort and support those affected is something that is depended on by many. I agree that we will get through this if we stick together.
ReplyDeleteI feel like so many bad things are happening. We all need each other now more than ever!
