Myeshia Johnson lost her husband earlier this month. Sgt. La David Johnson died in Nigeria. Myeshia has been going through so much right now and that`s what she told Good Morning America. Trump had a conversation with Myeshia and she stated that the president stumbled his name his said her husband" knew what he was getting into." There is always two parts of the story and he says that he didnt do anything wrong. David`s family is very angry about the conversation and they do not want to speak to him again. Many people are saying he didn`t give the respect that was needed because the soldier was an African-American.
I think Trump should have been more smarter about his words. His words have been getting him in trouble lately. I believe that HE really thinks hes trying to help and what hes doing is actually good. People are people and everyone should be equal no matter what race, gender, religion, etc. Sgt Johnson was out there serving for our country he should have more respect, because he risked his life and Trump needs to see that!

ReplyDeleteThis is so sad to see. Not only because Myeshia Johnson lost her husband, but the way in which the situation was handled. Claiming that someone "knew what they were getting into" isn't an excuse for them to die and to be brushed aside. He deserves respect as does his family. This is a truly traumatic experience for anyone to go through. I agree that trump needs to be smarter about his words and how he assesses situations. This is very delicate and the victim's family deserves respect and compassion.
