Trump's Moon- Ashley Neece

Vice President Mike Pence announced on Thursday 31 of October that the Trump administration was going to focus on getting Americans into space and possibly back to the moon. The last time we went to the Moon was on the Apollo 17 December 1972. So why now? “We will return NASA astronauts to the Moon — not only to leave behind footprints and flags, but to build the foundation, we need to send Americans to Mars and beyond” stated Pence. But he hasn't given a calendar or plan for sending the US back into space, so is this just a big idea or will it really happen. Since 2010 NASA has tried to travel to Mars but do to lack of funding the protect has been going slow.
