Ciaja Beck: Olympus might just really fall !!! (4th period) Anti trump protestors

Summary: On yesterday evening, Inauguration Day bricks were thrown, fires were created, and the devil was inaugurated president. 217 people were caught trashing  a half of dozen stores as of Friday, at a daylong anti-Trump demonstration. Police in riot gear used pepper spray and concussion grenades to impede the rampage a short distance from the U.S Capitol were President Trump was inaugurated. A limo outside the offices of the Washington Post was later set aflame as Trump rode a short distance away. "WE THE PEOPLE" was written in gold spray paint on the right side, also window were smashed.


Analysis Mr. Trump's inaugural speech made it clear that he will be as bad, probably worse, than everyone feared. This does not augur well for the United State or the world. Projecting 4 years forward, I have no doubt Mr. Trump will leave behind a chaotic and diminished America. 
All of this is hard to cope with honestly, but one of the most infuriating things is how America's standing, dignity, intelligence, and humanism as projected to the rest of the world is now at the whim of this man who seems to have no conception of history or the future, no sense of morality or compassion, and no duty to anything but his own vanity and reputation  and need to win.
