Sydney Bridgeforth - Oops, Trumps Goes Off Script Again

Summary:
Donald Trump's campaign announced Saturday evening that the candidate would soon deliver a nine-sentence critique of comments Hillary Clinton made months ago about many of the millennials supporting her primary rival, Bernie Sanders. It didn’t work.  Trump took nearly 25 minutes to read the brief statement because he kept going off on one angry tangent after another — ignoring his teleprompters and accusing Clinton of not being “loyal” to her husband, imitating her buckling at a memorial service last month, suggesting that she is “crazy” and saying she should be in prison.
He urged his mostly white crowd of supporters to go to polling places in "certain areas" on Election Day to "watch" the voters there. He also repeatedly complained about having a "bum mic" at the first presidential debate and wondered if he should have done another season of “The Apprentice.”
Analysis:
This article was written by Jenna Johnson on October 2, 2016.  I have never read a piece by this author before.  This article, to me, was written as the events were unfolding.  I do not think the author took one side or another.
With Election Day so close on the horizon, I am just ready to stop with all of the reality TV type antics by these candidates and to hear how they plan to work for the American People and  not just simply for themselves.  Stop bullying people and just campaign on merit and facts.

  2. I think the political campaign has become the candidates creating drama and spreading stories about how the other is "unfit" to be president, instead of focusing on what they will do for our country. Both candidates are treating the campaign like they are children instead of adults who are supposed to be leaders.

  3. It annoys me that Trump is so ignorant towards other people. I can't believe so many people are supporting him. But, with all of his opinions he is just getting more famous and known, which helps him.

  4. How is Trump even real? I mean if a meme was going to run for president I'd hope for Pepe, dat boi, spoopy skeletons, or maybe Spongebob. But nope, Trump is running. On a serious note though, this election is ridiculously unprofessional. We've got an orange man shouting "WRONG" at everything on one end, a conceited, smug old woman who acts like Narcissa Malfoy (minus the slight redemption) and will say literally anything for votes at the other end, and then off to the side there's Jill Stein being reasonable but not getting enough attention because of the two main-party buffoons spreading scandals and hogging the camera. I watched an SNL skit parodying the debate and mistook it for the real event.

  5. I strongly believe Donald Trump needs to stop accusing and sabotaging Hillary and should be acting more like presidential candidate.

  6. Trump surely does not realize how ignorant he acts. He seems to only worry about things he seems will help him but in reality this isn't helping him instead it makes him look unprofessional.

  7. I feel that Trump says whatever he wants, and never think about how other people feels. Sure, he has a few nice things in store for the United states, but he has a way of words that aren't always appealing to most people.
