Summary:
This last weekend a tragic incident happened that has left several locations in Vermont crying and mourning over five deaths of teenagers. The five teenagers were struck and caught on fire immediately after a car driving in the opposite side of the road hit them. The man had soon been arrested but when the officer tried helping the poor burnt teenagers, the man stole the officers car and began to drive off. Eventually the criminal hit several few other cars creating a mess sending people out to the hospital, firefighters have even stated they hadn't seen something as bad and horrid as this in 10-15 years ago. This Monday the high school of the victims (Eli Brookens,Mary Harris, Cyrus Zschau, all three 16, and Lim Hale and Janie Cozzi both being 15) had a candle light ceremony in honor of them. Also the police has detected that the criminal has had two other issues in history of criminal records.
Synthesis:
This article was published for CNN Monday October 10 by Mina Kaji and Ricardo Montero-Hernandez. The authors seem to not include their own personal aspects towards this subject, and seem to be providing facts and things that seem to be coming up from the issue as it begins to be solved by the police. This is my first time hearing about this topic, I can very much relate to this because I am 15 and just imagining my life ending within seconds because of a random guy screwing up,no thanks. I believe justice should be made and that as much support the families could receive the better. Something very similar to this is the idea of the contrasting paths different groups had eventually leading to fights(NA and Settlers).
