"Brilliantly used" Tax Laws to Trump's Advantage

Angelica Salazar 1st period

Summary:
Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, exposes his taxes to show and try to take the side of the people of America. This is one way to gain votes from the citizens, but it becomes obvious that that's what he's aiming for. He claims that this will contrast his money to Hillary Clinton and thus tries to shame her. He blames politics for bad tax laws and begins to side with the people.

Synthesis:
It is completely obvious that Trump is doing what he can to gain votes, and by doing so, people like me perceive him as attention-wanting and silly. He has his reasons, but also shamimg Hillary in such a childish manner isn't the best way to get people among your side. Taxes are constantly troubling the nation so it's a bit more wise to use this among citizens. This is compared to way back in history though all the taxes imposed on the American colonies by the British. Taxes such as, the Tea Act, Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Quartering Act and etc made the colonists extremely mad. It made their lives difficult to maintain and eventually went on rampages to gain independence.

  1. I agree. On top of that, it seems he is proud of the fact of not paying taxes, even though taxes is one of things that really keeps our country slightly stable with money for roads, schools, and for the general well being of the country. He's doing something that is hurting the entire country.
