Analysis-

This article was written by Max Blau and published by CNN on October 3. While reading this I was so disgusted, it is so horrible to think that people would hate against others for trying to remember history. I used to think that racism was a thing of the past but as I grow up and learn more about the world I realize that it is a a very pressing issue that is still very relevant. This shows that even though our schools are no longer segregated it seems some people still want it that way which is very terrifying to think about.

  1. Our own high school is a historically African American school, and to think something like this could happen at Booker T. is terrifying to me. It's awful to think that hate like this still exists in our world, but as people are dying in the streets on a regular basis, it is becoming impossible to ignore. Maybe now leaders will do something to fix it.

  2. Racism is very current today, and by all this hate from all races is only keeping this alive. Everyone needs to stop seeing the "color" and see the person who has a heart and a mind just like us all.
