I did not know about this incident until I read the article, this effects my
knowledge of the topic because this is the only source I have read from on this topic. This
article was written for the general public and it has a negative effect because
lately there has been so many police shootings in the U.S. and it just makes me sad because people are not learning from others' mistakes. The article was written as a news statement on the Philadelphia NBC’s
page. This document is relevant to our lives today because it is important to
be aware of all of these shootings happening recently. This article relates to
many events in the past, such as the police shootings that happened in Dallas
this past summer.

This article is definitely in a bad light because of all the police brutality going on in our world today. I do have to say this leaves me wanting to know more about the situation to see if the gun was used under the right conditions/purposes.
ReplyDeleteThis topic come very handy in what today's society stands on. It includes the violence people have been fearing. This will definitely affect the view of others in the world .
ReplyDeleteI agree with you when you say that people are not learning from others' mistakes
ReplyDeleteI agree that the general public needs to be kept aware of any violent crimes happening in their communities, but we also can't let this exposure desensitize us towards violence. We need to keep fighting to end the countless deaths due to gun violence that have been so prevalent recently.
