Emily McDougal - Hillary Clinton's potentially future health issues

Summary: According to a recent report, Hillary Clinton has been diagnosed with pneumonia after fainting as she went to her car following a 9/11 ceremony. She left the ceremony early, seeming unstable and shaky during her speech. Secret service agents escorted her away quickly and she said that the heat had affected her. She also recently had a coughing fit at a function in Cleveland, and suffered from a blood clot in her brain in 2012, based on previous accounts. Her physician says she is healthy, and Barack Obama himself has stated that she is in perfect condition to be the President of the United States.

Analysis: This article was written by Eric Bradner, Shimon Procupecz, and Dan Merica on September 11, 2016, in an attempt to show what has been happening to presidential candidate Hillary Clinton recently. Although Clinton is said to be perfectly healthy, her recent symptoms are definitely of interest. As someone who will could potentially be running our country, having health risks before a possible 8 year career as President of the United States is dangerous. The stress and exhaustion of the job could only create more issues. Though her health problems may not be as extreme as Donald Trump is making them out to be, accusing her to be having seizures, they are still something that need to be considered. This makes it extremely important to us. Our country needs a presidential candidate who is strong and healthy. We don't want to have to worry about potential health problems of our leader.
This situation is similar to John McCain who had health issues as a presidential candidate in 1999. During his campaign, he was diagnosed with cancer, and suffered through many other health problems as a senator.

  1. What does this mean for Hillary's presidential campaign? And for America, does this mean the election might fall into the hands of Donald Trump?

  3. Yeah, being completely healthy is something that the candidates need to be since it's not an easy job. Her health problems could be a distraction and we wouldn't want that.
