Tulane students fire back at fraternity's pro-Trump wall: Samantha Arthur

College Students from Tulane University built a wall last Thursday that praised Trump, but was then torn down Tuesday. The wall was meant to be satirical and it was meant to "mock the ideologies of a political candidate."
A quote from one of the college students goes as such--“Our chapter takes KA’s values of gentlemanly conduct very seriously. This respect extends to every student of Tulane and every member of the broader community. The comment was written on a makeshift wall on our private property, normally used for a game of capture the flag, to mock the ideologies of a political candidate. This had an unintended negative effect and as such it has been dismantled.”

The youth of America seems to be a very big part in this year's election and most young people would agree that Donald Trump is not the best candidate for the presidency. The event at Tulane University proves such statement. As America grows as a country, its elections have become more and more dramatic and less about politics and more about the candidates' image. This synthesizes back to the election of 1840 when the candidates really began to care about their self image and voters were swayed by their persuasion rather than their political stances.
