Jack McCullough was serving a life sentence for murdering 7 year old Maria Ridulph. Judge Bradley got rid of the conviction because evidence was found that stated Jack was wrongly convicted guilty. McCullough was freed and picked up by a family member. The conviction was based off of false testimonies, improper legal rulings, and a tweaked timeline.McCullough couldn't have hurt the child because he was 40 miles away trying to enlist in the Air force. The companion Maria was with at the time, Kathy Sigman said a man named Johnny came up and gave Maria piggy back rides. Kathy went home to get her gloves and when she came back Maria and Johnny were gone. James Hallock kept evidence that proved Jack innocent from the court. There was no physical evidence that proved that Jack was indeed guilty.
I believe that James Hallock should be punished for putting a innocent man in jail and withholding evidence. I hope that they find the man that actually committed the crime and make him pay for killing an innocent 7 year old child. McCullough is an elderly man now and should be able to live the rest of his life in peace. This should have been looked into before Jack had been falsely accused and put in prison.
McCullough deserves heavy compensation for his imprisonment. As a fellow "Jack", I strongly sympathize with his situation.

I agree, Hallock should be punished for with holding evidence that proved McCullough's innocence. -Mattie Whisler 9th period Flex
