Luz Lopez(4th period)- The abortion laws you don't hear about

It's no secret that people since 1973 have been against abortion. The abortion rights movement hasn't kept pace with the court case Roe V. Wade. In this, nearly 250 anti-abortion measures are taken. Some would ban abortions after the first trimester, while others would try and get rid of it all together. In 2015 alone, 41 anti- abortion measures were enacted in 22 states. A bill in New York seeks to include abortion training in medical residencies.
Abortion is not something to play around with. It is something serious. A lot of people still kill their unborn babies because they are scared or just plain don't want it. This article  reminded me of Hitler killed the jews because he blamed them for the start of World War 2.

  1. I, personally, am pro choice in situations like this. The way I see it, I'm in no place to be telling a woman I've never met, and probably will never meet, what to do with her own body. There are plenty of reasonable reasons to have and not have a baby but it all depends on the situation and the people involved. I could talk more about this but the way I see it, it's not my place to make a decision for them.

  2. I agree with shelby. I think that abortion is a serious topic and I hope that in the future there will be alternatives to abortion so that it may not come to that.

  3. Kenley Turner-
I am pro choice as well. As long as it does not do damage to a woman, she should be able to have an abortion. I guess I never really understood why people are pro "life"??
